Bella Gaum Feder, was the wife of Ephraim Feder. She was the daughter of Pesach and Minnie Gaum, who lived on Victoria Rd., in the Pier. When her mother Minnie became sick, Bella devoted her life looking after her at home. Bella and Ephraim had two children, Arnold and Francis. Bella was also a proof member of the Jewish Ladies auxiliary in the Pier. I remember her as an outgoing, friendly person, always smiling and happy. She also loved my grandma Fratka Gaum’s cooking and baking. Her father Pesach was the oldest sibling of the Gaum clan in the Pier.
