Belka was a younger sister of my paternal GrandMother Fanny (Fratka) Gaum. She was married to Lazar Konick They had children Morrie, Tillie, Eve, and Morris.
Lazar raised and sold cattle at their residence on Townsend St. in Sydney. After Lazar died, Belka moved to Toronto to be with her daughter Eve and family. The name Konick is Polish for small pony. They were both born in Belarus.
